In this article, we will show you how to edit a module. To edit a module, you can either right-click on your mouse and choose the desired module or go to the right sidebar menu.
Notice how the module has a number in the upper left corner? When you have just created the module it will be in minus and after you save it, a larger number will appear. We always recommend you save right after creating a module.
If you hover your cursor over the chatbot then a preview of the text within the module will appear and you will also be able to see a number of different functions. The functionalities are as following:
Edit module
This is where you can edit the message of your module. You can also edit the module by double-clicking the module.
Edit connection
This is where you can connect the module to other modules. This means the chatbot will, based on the end user’s input, send your customer to another module.
Clone module
This function will create a copy of your module.
Delete
This is where you can delete a specific module
Test flow from here
This function differs from the test in the drop-down menu, as the “Test” button in the drop-down menu will always test your chatbots communication flow from the beginning, whereas this function will only test from this specific place in the flow. This is especially useful when your bot is becoming bigger in structure, so you don’t have to start over every time before being able to test what you are really interested in.
Add KPI tag
When you hover your mouse over a module a tag option will appear underneath the module, which is the KPI option, where you can add a KPI tag. This should only be used on starting modules, fallback modules, and handover modules. When adding a KPI tag you can gather data on these specific parts of your chatbot, so you can see how many end users have been in your chatbot, how many end users have needed to be handed over to customer support and how many end users have ended up in a fallback path.
